Google again tops Fortune's list of best places to work

For the 20th year running, Wegmans made the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list.

The number two spot is up from previous year, when the chain was fourth on the list. It's the eighth time in 11 years Google has topped the list.

McLean, Virginia-based Capital One is the highest-ranked local company on the list, at No. 19.

"Nothing could mean more to me than having our people say that Wegmans is a great place to work", said Danny Wegman, CEO, and son of the late Robert Wegman, in a statement. They anonymously assess their workplace, including the quality of their leaders, support for their personal and professional lives and their relationships with colleagues.
