Basketball: Big game for Steven Adams in Thunder win

Russell Westbrook didn't get to rest and didn't add to his triple-double total.

Steven Adams had 16 points and 13 assists and Enes Kanter 14 points.

A vintage performance from the Oklahoma City Thunder earned a 110-94 win over Sacramento.

Oklahoma City guard Russell Westbrook, right, had 28 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists to help lead the Thunder to their fifth straight victory.

"I just play bro", Westbrook said. The Thunder are tied with the Los Angeles Clippers for fifth in the Western Conference.

Papagiannis scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, both season highs.

The Oklahoma City bench continued to cause problems for Sacramento. Kanter wore out the lighter Willie Cauley-Stein in the paint as he racked up 10 first-half points. This brought Westbrook back onto the court to close out the game.

After taking a 10-point lead at the first quarter mark, OKC blew the game open in the second, going up by as many as 22 points before taking a 63-41 lead ito half-time.

Sacramento could never get its offense rolling. Andre Roberson played suffocating defense on Hield while Cauley-Stein, Darren Collison and Labissiere couldn't buy a basket.
