Nokia 6 (which is now running on Android 7.0 Nougat) is apparently receiving Android 7.1.1 Nougat in China through OTA (Over The Air) update before going global.
Can Nokia and BlackBerry stand on their own, or is it all hype and nostalgia?
One important thing to note is that Nokia 6 joins an extremely small number of devices running Android Nougat 7.1.1 with official support from smartphone makers. Nokia 6 International Version, which was launched in MWC Barcelona is now receiving the update as HMD Global kept its word by saying that they will be rolling out the software updates very soon while launch. Also, it adds support for 4G/3G dual-SIM dual-standby.
Rumors have stated that Nokia 9 will feature a 5.5-inch display with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and a price tag of about $699.

As far as specifications are concerned, Nokia 6 has an aluminium unibody design. It looks like the first Nokia-branded smartphone will be jumping on the 7.1.1 bandwagon way before many other flagship devices.
This update, weighing around 370 MB will bring the latest April security patch to the device also. It also updates Nokia USB driver and version of pre-loaded applications.
When Is Nokia 6 Releasing In the United States? All of these models are rumored to see a worldwide launch by the end of the second quarter of 2017.
The Nokia 6 is quite durable as evidenced by scratch and burns tests. The Nokia 6 has been crafted from aluminum and houses a Snapdragon 430 processor.
There's also the Nokia 8 whose specs were also leaked a few months ago. It is expected to feature 64GB or 128GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot, and 6GB RAM. The selfie camera is said to have a 12-megapixel shooter, while the phone could come with a 3,800mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0.
