Sylvester Stallone's Role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is Confirmed

The one thing we can expect from this movie, then, is that Stallone and Yondu are going to be yelling at each other a lot, in a way that makes all of the rest of the Guardians feel incredibly uncomfortable.

'My kids think I'm related to the Hulk.

But Pratt not only confirmed that Stallone will be making a cameo in the movie (which has been the word on the street for a while now)-we also know which character he'll be playing, according to the latest news coming out of the rumor mill.

Chris said that his four-year-old son Jack visited the Guardians Of The Galaxy set and was given a tour of his spaceship Milano.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Michael Rooker, and Kurt Russell unveiled a new clip from the hotly anticipated sequel which sees our heroes battling the Abilisk; check it out below....

"You saw it in his eyes, he thought, 'I've seen this on TV or in the movie, but I guess my dad really does fly a spaceship for work!'" Chris grinned. He has a history with both the Ravagers and Guardians and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will reportedly focus on his relationship with Michael Rooker's Yondu. As with most Marvel projects, details have been relatively sparse, aside from the reveal of Kurt Russell's role in the full trailer. It's a bit nonsensical, but what do you expect from Sylvester Stallone?

James Gunn, 46, who directed the first two films in the franchise also announced Monday via social media that he will direct and write the third Guardians Of The Galaxy film.

With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 only a few weeks away now - we know, it's hard to believe - more information should come to light soon.
