Serena Williams announces she's pregnant

The 23-time major victor posted a selfie of a small baby bump with the caption "20 weeks". A date for the nuptials has not been set yet and before the Australian Open Williams said she was deferring thinking about the tennis competition in front of her.

Neither Williams nor Ohanian have posted anything else on social media or commented publicly on Williams's news, but her fans instantly chimed in, congratulating her on her latest achievement.

The mom-to-be won her 23rd Grand Slam title at the Australian Open in January this year. She won the NY marathon in November 2007 six weeks before turning 34 and 10 months after having a child. It has to be a possibility, after Williams seemed to reveal on Wednesday that she is pregnant. (Kidding!) Although the tennis phenom has stayed mum on her wedding plans, hopefully she'll give the world a peek into her upcoming nuptials and baby preparations before her two big days.

They tweeted congratulations to Serena before deleting the post. Austin asked. "We've seen a lot of great great champions come back after having a child and it really comes down to her motivation".

She pulled out of the recent tournaments in Indian Wells and Miami citing a knee injury but was scheduled to play at the Madrid Open next month.

The younger Williams sister is just one Grand Slam short of Margaret Court, who collected many of hers in an era when the difficulties of global travel often diluted the fields.

Last December, Williams, 35, announced her engagement to Ohanian.

News of a little one immediately sent Twitter into a tizzy about Williams, given that good friend Beyonce is pregnant with twins. I want young people to look at the trailblazers we've assembled below and be inspired.
